Cansa Shavathon
Celebrating Baldness at Fourways Mall
Hair. It is our biggest fashion accessory of every person. We colour with ease, style to perfection and call it our crowning glory! In contradiction to this, Fourways Mall will be celebrating baldness and colour-sprayed hair on Saturday 3rd March 2007 in partnership with CANSA (The Cancer Association of South Africa).
The public can participate by having their hair shaved or sprayed a colour of their choice for a donation of R50.00. The CANSA Shavathon is a fund raising event and all proceeds are donated to prevention programmes and patient care services.
The event will take place on Saturday 3rd March in the Junxion Court, Lake Level of Fourways Mall between 09h00 - 15h00.
Michelle Fagan of Figjam marketing, the event organiser, believes that the CANSA Shavathon is a well-known event and people in our country understand that by shaving or colour-spraying their hair for the event, we show support and celebration of life for South African cancer survivors.
