Bomb Threat At Fourways Mall
The Management of Fourways Mall has confirmed that a bomb threat was received this afternoon at 15:30. Emergency evacuation procedures were followed through immediately. ‘The SAPS and Emergency Services were on the scene within minutes of our call’. Says Ms Sonja De Necker, General Manager at Fourways Precinct. A thorough police investigation is taking place.
The SAPS and Bomb Squad unit did a thorough search of Fourways Mall, which reopened one and a half hours later. No tenant or any patron of Fourways Mall sustained any injuries.
